Watermelon Cruisers, Birth Regret and GHB in G Minor

Watermelon Cruisers, Birth Regret and GHB in G Minor is a long form poem constructed by SMS between Mahmood Fazal, Daniel Stewart and Mitch Tolman. The poem was written over the Summer of '20 / '21 and handed over to Aedan Lee for design. Mont went into hiatus toward the end of '21 when DX and Mahmood moved out of Melbourne so this project has been dormant since... resurrected for the final run of Distort mags...

These are artist proof copies from the DISTORT XXIII series vol. 8. Limited to 10 hand number copies they don’t include the hand stamped cardstock cover.

Distort mag started in 2003 to document kvlt hardcore and World War III. The contents of Distort have been dominated by impulse, excess, insomnia, stimulation. No editor, no proofread, no nerd.

Out of the 2000+ pages published over the past couple of decades I am skimming the C.R.E.A.M. into an archival book.

I'm also kicking off a project called the XXIII Project, of which this is the eighth volume.

XXIII will publish 23 mags total. These will be available only in two editions of 23 copies each.

The second edition was a unique subscription edition to this project. Now sold out.
